Awesome Fall Day
Keith suggested that with the beauty of the change of seasons, the cool sun bouncing off the water, lovely russets, ochers, and scarletts of fall - that I write a bit about fall.
Whatever.
Before we left to find the summer that never found us, we did do a bit of riding in Anchorage, strictly so that we could have a blast. And so we did. Casmir decided that she likes to canter, and she doesn't like to be riding the slow horse or having the slow horse in front of her. This is actually a major breakthrough.
Anchorage was certainly more green than the other rides we took in October. Pinnacle Peak in Tucson Arizona was dusty, but not nearly as dusty (or smoggy for that matter) as Huntington Beach, California.
At least in California Keith discovered a horse that actually fit him and suit him, so there is hope for him turning into a cowboy yet.
