The April 1923 edition of The Pathfinder of Alaska, the official organ of the Pioneers of Alaska which is devloed to the interests of the Pioneers of Alaska and the Development of the Territory is now available.

This edition includes great vintage photographs, cartoons, illustrations and advertisements. Articles include Natives of Alaska-Atka Island by Kathryn Dyakanoff Seller, A Sourdough Brings Home the B'ar Meat by Hattie D'Orsay, Totem Tree Near Wrangell, Bishop Rowe in Mushing Togs, Reminiscenses of An Old Sourdough by Silvertip, Doc Joe's First Bear Victim by Robert Romig, Department of Mining and Milling Methods conducted by Consulting Engineer Charles Titus, poem St. Peter and the Lone Prospector, Untold Resourses, Rail and Wagon Road Coordination, Protect the Fox Farmers, Cartoonist Jessen reviews Alaskan Affairs, Ad Summun by Charles Bunnell, News from the Igloos, The Grand Igloo Meeting by E.C. Austin, Soudough Notes, and a very gossipy letter from Slim to Bill.

If you have relations who were in Alaska at this time this could be a real nugget for you, as stories of who did what where with whom, and a great deal of speculation about such, fill this lovely edition. Find it at
